Priority allows you to assign certain node and to maintain in a certain pose while the other body parts are performing other motions. Such as the lower body is performing a walking motion and the upper body is stretching.

Priority node allows you to blend perform motion with body movement, where you can have someone walking using WASD keys, and then press a perform hotkey to have certain parts of the body perform another motion. E.g. have someone walk and then pick up a book and then walk away again carrying a book tucked in their arm, instead of swinging their arms. |

When Persist is set for certain channels, the character will remain in the last frame's status unless you set desist clip to the selected channel.E.g. when the character is fighting in the scene and he is dead. Persist allows the character to remain in the dead status when reach to the end of the animation clip, instead of coming alive again. Or you can have nodes remain in the same status. E.g. holding an item when moving. |

Priority values help you to differentiate between the upper body and the lower body motions or for a target node.Ultra High: When this value is set, the selected channel cannot be interrupt by other perform. High: When this value is set, the selected channel need to maintain its motion's integrity to this selected channel. Low: The selected channel could be overwriting by other channels.E.g. you can have an upper body waving motion and a lower body walking motion.
